Mis on LUUK?

LUUK on tantsukonverents, mis keskendub kehalistele praktikatele ja loovuurimusele. Lähtume seisukohast, et kõik loovad tegevused kätkevad eneses erinevat tüüpi oskusi ja teadmisi, samaaegselt ka laiendades ja luues uusi tegemis- ja mõtlemisviise. Konverentsil seame eesmärgiks pakkuda dialoogiplatvormi nii (tantsu)kunstnikele, liikumispraktikutele, õpetajatele, (loov)uurijatele kui kultuuritöötajatele, et jagada ning ristata oma praktikaid ja teadmisi seoses kehalisuse, liikumise ja tantsuga.

Esimene LUUK toimub 13.-14.06.2025 Vaskjala Loomeresidentuuris, Tallinna lähistel.Kutsume üksteist avama oma käimasolevate loovuurimuste luugid ja lubame üksteisel nende taga peituvat veidi lähemalt kiigata.

Ajaliin: 17.12.24 kutsung ettekannetele → avatud kutsung lõpeb 31.01.25 → otsused tehakse teatavaks 14.02.25 → esinejad kinnitavad oma osalemise 01.03.25 → konverentsi programm avalikustatakse 01.04.25 → registreerimine on avatud alates 01.05.25 → konverents 13.-14.06.25

What is LUUK?

 

LUUK is a dance conference with a focus on embodied practices and artistic research. We hold that all artistic processes entail various types of knowledge and also produce new ways of engaging, making and knowing. The conference’s aim is to offer a dialogic platform for (dance) artists, movement practitioners, educators, researchers and culture workers to gather and share their artistic work in the realm of dance, embodied practices and body-based approaches. x

 

The 1st edition of LUUK will take place on the 13th-14th of June 2025 at Copper Leg Residency, nearby Tallinn, Estonia

The word “luuk” in Estonian means a latch. So, we invite us to open the latches of our ongoing artistic processes and research and allow one another to peer in.

 

Timeline: 17.12.24 call for presentations → open call closes 31.01.25 → decisions are communicated by 14.02.25 → presenters confirm their participation 01.03.25 → conference program is made public 01.04.25 → registration is open on 01.05.25 → conference during 13.-14.06.25
