Loominguline-eksperimentaalne kogemus Aitana Corderoga treenimaks ja uurimaks heaolu, ehitamaks uut koosolemist ja liikumist idüllilises kohas: kaugel mürast, ümbritsetud väljadest, vaikusest ja tähtedest. Töötuba uurib kohtumisi, iha, alistumist, vabaks laskmist ja gastronoomiat.
Nädal intensiivset treeningut ning pehmet palsamit, kus kõik, magamisest söögitegemiseni, on mäng. Kasutame erinevaid ruume, kohti, maja, stuudiot, metsa, basseine, kive, puid.
See töötuba, kohtumine või seiklus, pakub treeningut kui koos ehitamise ja elamise viisi loomingulise protsessi analoogiana. Mängime ehitamise füüsilisuse, ruumide konstrueerimise, kodu, koostöö, intiimsuse, väsimuse, korduste ja söögitegemisega.
Ehitame ja lõhume ideid ja ruume puudutuse, lõhnade, liikumise, õppimise, küsimise, uuendamisega, kui koosolemise viisiga taaskasutades lootust ja uut mõistmist sellest, mis võiks olla elamiskõlblik.
Performatiivsete šamanistlikel kogemustel põhinevate meditatsioonide, võitluskunstide, kohalolu- ja jagamiskatsetuste ning rituaalide kaudu uurime kehalisust, ruumi ja aega, luues koosolemise vorme, lainetades teadmatuses, ennast hoides.

Aitana Cordero
Ta on “liikuja”, looja / koreograaf, lavastaja, uudishimulik, küsimuste, raamatute, toidutegemise ja kehade armastaja, kaksikute tähtkujus, ema, ta surfab…
Varajases lapsepõlves tegi ta intensiivselt judot ning ei ole võitluskunstidest siiani loobunud.
Aastaid treenis end tantsijana.
Ta otsustas oma huvisid muuta, teda võlus keel ja mõtlevate kehade looming.
Aastal 2006 lõpetas ta Amsterdamis SNDO koreograafina ning kaks aastat hiljem sai magistrikraagi koreograafias ja uutes tehnoloogiates Dance Unlimited koolis, samuti Hollandi pealinnas.
Alates 2000 aastast on ta loonud lavastusi, installatsioone, performance’eid, koreograafiat, sündmusi, filme, videoid, tekste, kulinaarseid ettepanekuid ja “asju”, mida on esitatud erinevates linnades Euroopas, Põhja-Ameerikas ja Aasias.
Alates 2001 aastast on ta oma loomingulist uurimust kombineerinud õpetamisega erinevates erakoolides ja ülikoolides.
Hetkel kureerib festivale ning töötab ka dramaturgi/nõuandja/“kaaslane ja vaatlustoetajana” teiste loojate lavastustele.
Korduvad huvid tema töödes ja loomigulistes uurimustes on “kehadevaheline kohtumine”, tähendused ja tähistajad, intiimsus, “senksuaalsus”, vägivalla füüsilisus ning protokollide ja konventsioonide uurimine etenduskunstides. Ta armastab objekte, sügavalt.
Tema teised protsessidesse integreeritud huvid on filosoofia, kirjandus, soouurimus, maalimine ja gastronoomia.

Workhosp: The Burn Wooden House

August 27-31 at Copper Leg Art Residency
Creative – experiential experience with Aitana Cordero to train and investigate the idea of being well, building new togetherness and moving, in an idyllic place, isolated from noise and surrounded by fields and trees, silence and stars. This workshop will be a study on encounters, desire, surrender, letting go and gastronomy.
A week of intense training and, at the same time, a soft and pleasant balm, where everything will be a game, from sleeping to cooking. Using different spaces and locations, the house, the studio, the forests, the pools, the rocks, the trees.
In this workshop, adventure or meeting, a body training is proposed on the idea of building and living together as an analogy for creating processes. Concepts such as the physicality of building, the construction of spaces, the home, collaboration, the intimate, fatigue, repetition and cooking will be played with.
Touching, smelling, moving, studying, questioning, updating, we will build and demolish ideas, spaces, as a practice of being together, as a way of recycling some hope and creating a new sense of what could be habitable.
Through meditation, martial arts, experiments on presence and "sharing" and some rituals - taken to performativity, based on shamanic experiences, we will explore our bodies, other bodies, spaces and times to create forms of being together, surfing uncertainties and taking care of ourselves.

Aitana Cordero
She is a "mover", creator / choreographer, director, curious, lover, of questions, books, cooking and bodies, Gemini, mother, she surfs...
She did Judo intensively, during her early childhood, and has never left the study of martial arts. She trained for years as a dancer.
She decided to change the course of her interests, attracted by the language of thinking bodies and creation.
In 2006 she graduated as a Choreographer from the SNDO, School for the New Development of Dance, in Amsterdam, and two years later she finished the Master in Choreography and new technologies, Dance Unlimited, also in the Dutch capital.
Since 2000 she has developed her own projects in the form of pieces, installations, performances, choreography, events, films, videos, texts, culinary proposals and "things" that have been presented in various cities in Europe, North America and Asia.
Since 2001, she has combined her research and artistic work with intense teaching work in different private schools and universities.
Currently, she also curate events and festivals and as well performs as a dramaturge/adviser/ "company and observation support" for work ́s processes of other choreographers or creators.
Some of her recurring artistic interests in her work and research are the "encounter between bodies", meanings and signifiers, intimacy, "senxsuality", the physicality of violence and the exploration of protocols and conventions of performing arts. She loves objects, deeply.
Other interests that are usually integrated into his processes are philosophy, literature, gender studies, painting and gastronomy.
